Initial Nodes

Jexus Manager Connections panel might show a few initial nodes if it detects global configuration files, and previous saved nodes.

For example, a node named "IIS Express" is displayed if user wide IIS Express configuration file is present at "My Documents\IIS Express\config\applicationHost.config".

A node named after the machine name is displayed if machine wide IIS configuration file is present at "%windir%\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config".

Previously saved IIS Express and Jexus nodes are also displayed at startup.

Double click a node and Jexus Manager will attempt to connect to the server.

Add IIS Express Node

Custom IIS Express configuration files can be added as new server nodes, by "File | Connect to a Server" menu item. Simply choose IIS Express option and follow the wizard.

Add Jexus Node

Jexus web server can be added as new server nodes, by "File | Connect to a Server" menu item. Simply choose Jexus option and follow the wizard.

The server side component must be downloaded and installed before Jexus Manager can connect to it. More information can be found at Jexus Manager 1.1.
